Plated Review and get FREE Plates

I am not the best cook, and I have been wanting to find a great meal delivery subscription.  I saw an offer from Plated to try two free plates, so I signed up.  Plated is great, because you can signed up for a regular subscription, or you can just buy plates when you want.  You have to buy a minimum of four plates when you order, I chose the skillet lasagna with fall root vegetables.  I decided to get 4 plates of it, since I have a family of four.

My Bake Box Review

I did a survey recently, and asked what box do you wish existed.  The most popular answer (see the results HERE) was a baking box!   I did some research and found a baking box.  A bake box sends at least one high quality baking ingredient plus decorating tools to make cupcakes.  Each month is a new flavor with fun items.  Bake Box was very generous and sent me a box to review.  I must admit, I am not a great cook. I was a bit nervous about getting this box.  Prior to this box, I had never made cupcakes with homemade icing.  Read on to see if I burned the house down.

Doteable Women’s Dorm Duffel Review and Discount

Doteable sent me the classic duffel to review this month, and I was excited to get it.  Doteable is a monthly subscription service that sends a duffel of goodies and other essentials to college students.  I reviewed the mini duffel HERE.  I love all the new college subscription boxes,  I have a couple of lucky cousins who are going to get some awesome care packages.  One thing I really like about Doteable, is how versatile their care packages are. Doteable is a perfect gift for college students but would make great gifts for teens and adults.

Oliver really likes these treats, and they don't upset his tummy.  These are soft chews with USDA salmon.  They also have cranberries, which help support urinary tract health.  This is very important in senior male cats.

Playing with the string
Oliver loved this toy.  I tried to get a picture of him jumping for it, but he was too fast.

Stridebox Review

I am a runner and I always enjoy getting my StrideBox.  StrideBox keeps me accountable to running.  I did my first 5K this past summer and I am going to do a 5 mile race this November.  I have my first mini this spring!  I like finding new running products.  I have found stuff I love, and stuff I don't .  StrideBox is only $15.00 a month, so it is nice to try various products, without spending lots of money.

The Box
StrideBox comes in this little box.  It fits in my mailbox!
First Look
I like the pink details for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Information Card
StrideBox always includes a detailed list of all the items in the box.
Nature's Bakery All Natural Fruit Bar (Retail Value: $ 1.25)
I already know I like Nature's Bakery Fig Bars.  They taste like a gourmet Fig Newton.  They are made with 100% natural ingredients.  I have received these in another subscription box and enjoyed them.  This would be good before a race.
That's it All Natural Fruit Bar $1.67
I also received this in another subscription box.  These are really good and have a nice flavor.  This bar has two ingredients: apples and cherries.
Chocolate #9 Low Glycemic Index Energy Gel $1.25
This is the only low glycemic index energy gel on the market.  This only has two ingredients.  I have never had chocolate energy gels, so I am anxious to try it.
StrideBox Mesh Gear Bag $8.99
This is StideBox exclusive.  This is a great wet bag for all your running gear.  I often run in the park, so I will use this to hold all my gear.
Perform Pain Relieving Gel Sample
This gives you a cooling sensation where ever you apply it.  This is a topical pain reliever.
“Run for a Reason” Breast Cancer Awareness sticker
This is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so I am glad StideBox included these.
RockTape Endurance Tape for Athletes Sample
This helps athletes improve form and decrease fatigue through better blood flow.  I am going to save this for my mini training.
Honey Stinger Organic Stinger Waffle $1.39
Honey Stinger is popular among runners.  Again, I haven't tried chocolate running products, but I will give this a try.  This is certified organic and is a healthy snack or can be used during training.
Fluid Performance Natural Sports Drink $1.27
This has bio-available electrolytes and is promised to have a great taste.  It is raspberry lemon-aid flavor, so it sounds delicious.
The Whole Box.
Final Thought: The total value for this box was $15.82, not including samples.  I like finding new running products to try.  I like that the box was worth more than I paid.  I love the running bag and like that I will have a designated bag for my running stuff.  If you want to try StrideBox, go to www.stridebox.com.

The Fantasy Box Review and Discount Code

*This review is an adult subscription box.  This review contains mature themes.
The Fantasy Box is an adult subscription service, designed to give your intimate relationship a little kick.  When The Fantasy Box asked me to review their subscription, I couldn't say yes fast enough.  I am a happy married woman of 10 years, and I am always up for taking time to be with my husband C.  This is not a box of sex toys, although the Fantasy Box includes some cool stuff.  The Fantasy Box is about a “choreographed” experience with instructions on how to make it happen.  The Fantasy Box sends a box of  directions and various items, some intimate, some not, designed around a certain theme.  Each box explores a fantasy.  Sometimes the focus will be the women, sometimes the man.  Each month is different and each box is designed to bring you and your partner closer together.  No two months are the same, but everyone gets the same intro box.  The intro box (the one I am reviewing), focuses around communication with your partner.
The Details

How Does It Work? When you sign up, you fill out for the women, her size (S-4X), date of birth, bra size, and cup size.  The man fills out his size (S-2X) and date of birth.  You also select monthly or every other month for the frequency of boxes.

Subscriptions and Cost:
When am I billed: The 1st of the month
How do I cancel? You can cancel from your account.  You can also switch plans, or frequencies.  You must cancel before the last day of the month, to avoid being charged for the next month.
I reviewed The Fantasy Box ($59.00)-Intro Box
The box ships in a plain brown box.
When my box came, I had no idea what it was.  I like to keep my intimate matters private, so I like there is a giant Fantasy Box sticker on the box.
The box
The box is beautiful.  This is the best actual box, of any subscription box I have received.  The box is made very sturdy.  The front lifts out, open and has a magnetic closure.
Side of the box
I love the details on the side of the box.  All the little pictures are very cute.   I am going to reuse this box and store my “intimate” items.
First Look
Welcome to The Fantasy Box

Under the brochures, there was a white welcome card and 2 cards that say Leader and Follower.  You read the welcome note first.  It goes into detail about the instructions for the box and what you need to do.

The Directions
The directions are in two parts: Part 1: Let's Talk About Sex and Part 2: Leader & Follower.  Each sections goes into detail about what you need to do. (keep reading for more details)
For Him/For Her
The intro box is all about communication.  The top brochures are a survey for you and your spouse.  There are 20 questions, and each survey is the same.  The first task, is to fill out the survey and discuss over a romantic dinner (maybe over desert).  C and I discussed them after the children went to bed.  It is hard to get a night away, so we work with what we have.  The questions are very specific.  Some of the questions are: the best way to build anticipation is to:  (select an answer), I am turned on by (select an answer).  After 10 years of marriage, I was surprised to learn new things about C.  How often do you really sit down and talk with your partner about your sexual preferences?  After 10 years, we really hadn't discuss that in many years.
Leader and Follower Cards
Each Leader and Follower card has instructions on the back.  Each person picks what role they are going to be.  You don't get to see what the other person's directions are, that is part of the fun.  I am not going to share what the instructions of either card are, because that would ruin the fun!
The Goods
There are so many things in this box, it took me a bit to get to the actual items.  Everything was wrapped and placed very nicely in the box.  I love pink and black together.
Sex and Mischief Satin Black Blindfold $5.99
What is a good fantasy without a blindfold?  There are two elastic bands on the back, so it won't slip off your head.  Note: I am not an expert on this, just an observation.
Pipedream Le Reve Ribbed Vibrator $17.08
It is hot pink, which I love.  It has 3 speeds, and comes with batteries. Did I mention it is waterproof?  We all know what this is for, so I will move on.
Hot Pink Warming Lubricant for Women $9.00
This lubricant has warming properties, non drying, and glycerin free.  It is also in a cute pink and white bottle
Dona Massage Candle $8.97
The can says it is an “aphrodisiac infused ritual”.  It has a really nice smell that is hard to describe. It is a soy candle that is paraban free, cruelty free, natural and petro. deriv. free.
Electric Lingerie Babydoll Dress and Thong $25.00
This is a very flattering babydoll dress.  It is one size, but I think it would look great, on many different sizes.  It is super soft too.
The Whole Box

Final Thought: The total value for this box was $66.04.  This is a great box value, as half the fun is the cards and survey!  This box costs $59.00 by subscription.  I will spare you the details, but this is a fun box.  The Fantasy Box really put thought into making this box: from the communication exercise, to the directions, to the items in the box.  Again, this is so much more than a box of sex toys.  It will bring you and your partner closer together, and you will have a deeper understanding of your partner's likes/dislikes.  What do you think of The Fantasy Box? The Tasteful Pantry
My son has a peanut allergy and it is almost impossible to find a food subscription that doesn't include nuts.  I found a subscription box that caters to your “free from diet”.  I was really excited to try The Tasteful Pantry, because I wouldn't have to worry about any peanut products in the box.  The Tasteful Pantry send a customized box of snacks/foods based on your diet.  You can choose dairy free, gluten free, vegan, soy free and nut free.  One of the really cool things, is you can mix and match any of the diets.  You can choose nut free, dairy free and vegan for one box.  If you don't have any dietary preferences, you don't have to select any of them.  Once you find a snack you like, you can buy more in their shop.
